Responsible Use

Vaping products are intended for adults who already use nicotine or tobacco products. They are not intended for non-smokers, youth, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or anyone advised by a healthcare provider to avoid nicotine. This page outlines guidance for using vapor products responsibly.

Nicotine Is Addictive

WARNING: Vaping products contain nicotine, a highly addictive chemical. This warning is required by Health Canada and applies to every nicotine-containing product we carry. If you do not currently use nicotine or tobacco products, we do not recommend starting.

Not a Cessation Device

Vaping products sold here are not authorized by Health Canada as smoking cessation aids and should not be treated as one. If you are trying to quit smoking or vaping, Health Canada and your healthcare provider can point you to approved cessation resources and supports.

Device and Battery Safety

  • Only use the charging cable and adapter that came with your device, or a manufacturer-approved replacement.
  • Never leave a charging device unattended for extended periods, especially overnight.
  • Stop using a device immediately if the battery is swollen, cracked, leaking, or unusually hot, and dispose of it safely rather than continuing to use or charge it.
  • Do not expose devices or e-liquid to extreme heat, direct sunlight, or freezing temperatures.

Storage

  • Keep all vaping products, e-liquids, and devices out of reach of children and pets at all times — nicotine e-liquid can be harmful if ingested or absorbed through skin.
  • Store products in their original packaging when possible, in a cool, dry place.

Use in Moderation

Nicotine strength varies significantly between products — from low-strength freebase e-liquids to high-strength salt nic formulations. If you are new to a product or switching from a different nicotine strength, start slowly and pay attention to how you feel. Our staff can help you choose a strength appropriate to your current usage when you visit us in-store.
